Kevin Crace
Kevin is a Santa Claus believing, champagne wielding, UX designer and product strategist. He is here to create new ideas, deliver unique solutions, and design deliciously crispy products. He cares immensely about the user and aims to form a cohesive, intuitive bond between user and product.
After pursuing fine arts with a dash of entrepreneurship at Wake Forest University, Kevin launched into the design world at RISD to earn his Master's of Architecture. He learned the ins and outs of design, and learned how to enjoy the process while churning out each detail. Kevin was then selected to be a member of the second class of Boston Startup School where he learned all things startup. He left the architecture world for the startup one because he wants to be surrounded by collaboration and fast-paced iteration. From there, he spent a rapid cycle alongside The Iron Yard’s startup accelerator as the resident designer. He ultimately launched into his career at Emma, starting as a UX designer keenly focused on research, future product development, and creative labs-type projects. He then went on to become the Product Director at MeetEdgar where he designed and tailored the product to the needs of small businesses focused on selling a digital product (including fitness and wellness coaches, lifestyle bloggers, and freelancers). Next, he was a Senior Product Designer at CMGroup where he focused on building an email marketing management product for agencies, franchises and universities. His next role was a Senior Product Designer at Monograph where he owned the company’s design system and led the design process for the new payments and invoicing feature. Currently, he is a Staff Product Designer at Shopify for the delivery team.
To go a bit deeper, Kevin aims to have the presence and state of mind to enjoy what surrounds him and the courage to leap when needed. He seeks to consider others as much as he considers himself while finding those that open him to new experiences. Lastly, he unabashedly LOVES his wiener dog, Scout!
